Additional Information


You must include the purpose of your payment (free format) in the payment request. You include this information in the purposeOfPayment.code field.
The partner bank branch will contact the beneficiary's bank/beneficiary for purpose of remittance (on regulatory Form-R). The partner bank will release the payment once the Beneficiary/ Beneficiary Bank provides the purpose of remittance (on regulatory Form R).
In case the beneficiary is a company, the Form-R is mandatory irrespective of the payment amount. In case the beneficiary is an individual, Form-R would be required only for payments equal to/or above US$ 10,000 equivalent.
The holding period for receipt of Form R from the beneficiary/ beneficiary bank is 15 days. After the expiry of the 15-day holding period, funds that have not been collected by the beneficiary/ beneficiary bank (if they have not submitted the Form-R) are returned back to the remitter.
