# Verified Tokens

Verified Tokens ensures that your customer's payment details are valid and CIT compliant when [creating a token](/products/tokens/create-a-token).

There are two possible ways to create a verified token:

- [Create a verified token](/products/verified-tokens/v2/create-verified-token) passing the card number, expiry date and CVC
- [Create a verified token](/products/verified-tokens/v2/create-verified-token) passing the session created by the [Access Checkout SDK](/products/checkout)
