Integrate in Latin America

How to add Latin America to your integration, including how to processinstalments.

What you need

Before you can take payments in Latin America, you must have:

  • A legal entity
  • An acquirer in the country/countries you want to operate in

    Note: Worldpay offers an acquiring service in Brazil and Argentina. Contact your Relationship Manager or contact corporatesupport@worldpay.com.


  • A bank account in the country/countries you want to operate in (for the acquirer to settle locally)

What we need from you

Before you can take payments in Latin America, Worldpay needs your:

  • Local legal name and entity registered (in each country that you want to accept payments with local settlement)
  • Local registered address
  • Local phone number
  • Acquirer information
    • Name
    • For payments in Brazil, the type of technology used (Getnet Webservices, Cielo Webservices, Rede Komerci...)
  • Establishment Code (also known as the MID)

Note: The majority of these cards are not enabled for cross-border use in Latin America. Worldpay therefore recommends to use domestic cards in Latin America where possible.
