IPC cancels a transaction

IPC cancels the transaction and shows the following messages in the log file:

Cause

The transaction has timed out and was automatically canceled by IPC.

A signature verification request is not received.

The PED displayed the message to tap, insert, or swipe the card. However, no card is presented, or the PED could not read the card.

Solution

  • The customer must insert their card within the default transaction time (30 seconds).

  • They should try a different card if the card is not readable, or try a different PED if no card is readable.
