Current Port is Owned by YESpay/Worldpay

When starting IPC a ‘Current Port is Owned by YESpay/Worldpay’ error appears

Cause

The IPC software is already running on the system.

Solution

Check if IPC is running by using the System Tray. See if the EMBOSS icon is shown or not (see the highlighted icon in the screenshot above).

  • If the EMBOSS icon appears, IPC is already running. Click the icon and select Exit to quit the instance of IPC.

  • If IPC will not exit, we recommend restarting the IPC host machine.
