IPC has a feature that provides scheduled updates of the IPC software and the terminal firmware version.
Updates take place during the hours of 2am to 6am local time. The type of update, and the paypoints to update are controlled by the Integrated Payments service.
You, the merchant, agree with Worldpay the details of which updates to apply and their schedule by paypoint. Worldpay enter the schedule on the Integrated Payments service and IPC automatically follows the schedule to process the update.
